Super tasty, creative menu, always friendly.

It was incredibly delicious and didn't have to wait long for our meal. The waitresses were super friendly and really quick. We found the atmosphere there very pleasant and would go out to eat again at any time.

Really highly recommended! If you are not from the area, are passing through or are on holiday in the area and are wondering where to eat, you should take this restaurant to heart. It has a wonderful ambience due to the deep stone wall ceilings, so that you immediately feel very comfortable. The toilets were very clean and the service very friendly and courteous. The food was fantastic and served quickly. Our dog was also very welcome, which unfortunately is becoming increasingly rare. He was treated well and his well-being was taken care of. In terms of price, it was perfectly okay. It is recommended (if possible) to reserve in advance, as there are only a small number of places. Many thanks to the team for a very successful evening!

The unusual food variations are exciting and excellently prepared. It is a pleasure to enjoy the mostly weekly or even daily changing dishes. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The outside area is lovingly decorated and planted. The interior is rustic and very cozy. For these reasons the five stars are more than deserved :)

The 'new' landlady in the Poststüberl is friendly, welcoming and very eager. The terrace is cozy, the dining room is rustic and modern and the corners are 'dark' at a later hour. I just didn't have any luck with the rump steak, but that was certainly just an exception. So you can recommend the restaurants.

Very rustic restaurant, reminiscent of an old cowshed now with the flair of a rock cellar. The vault shows off all its characteristic charm. The food is tasty and fresh. My rump steak and my husband's veal chop were fried to the point. The desserts were awesome and because I couldn't guess myself, I was even told the secret ingredient of the mousse au chocolat. 😅 Now it's no longer a secret, but I can sleep peacefully. 🤣 Staff super friendly. Always ask if everything fits. They respond to requests and even help out with a tea towel when the toddler wants to bathe in the water. 🙃 Prices for the most expensive dish at € 18.50 were also completely OK. Conclusion we'll be back. By the way, there is no adjoining room for a party of about 20 men. 🤗 Anyone who wants to celebrate will also find their place there. Until we see you again, we say thank you for this great meal and hope that the Poststüberl in Tröstau will stay with us for a very, very long time as it is now.

One of the most beautiful restaurants in Bavaria. Anyone in the area - definitely visit! A clear menu, but everything is excellently prepared. In addition, very good Franconian beer (or Guinness) on tap and friendly service. What more do you want?

For the ambience alone, I would give at least 4 stars, but I was a little disappointed with the short and “meat-heavy” menu on Sunday. As a vegetarian I didn't find anything here, a roast dish without meat was the only alternative. It's a shame, because your side salad was really awesome! This, as a salad plate, z. Served with baguette, for example, would be a start as a main course on the menu. Or at least ONE other vegetarian dish would have been enough for me. The service was very friendly and tried to give me suggestions as far as possible.

Very good, quaint restaurant. Very good local cuisine and an equally good Zoigl beer. Extremely nice staff always eager to please. We came by by accident. In any case, we are coming more often now. Conclusion absolutely recommendable! Recommendation: reserve in advance.

Top ambience, top service, excellent modern cuisine! A great start for the team!

The Poststüberl has finally reopened under new management since June 2020. Very cozy atmosphere, tastefully decorated, not overloaded. Toilets are clean. The staff is very friendly, even when there is a lot going on. We have already been there twice and are very satisfied, as the food was really very delicious, nicely presented (see photos) and the prices are really fair. Since it was very well attended, you sometimes had to wait a little, which didn't bother us. We look forward to great weather so that we can enjoy the beer garden :-) We will definitely be back!

After the reopening in June, a real stroke of luck was achieved. The new tenant Mrs. Bähr really did a great job. The food is excellent. The prices are reasonable. And the service is perfect, friendly, courteous and quick. Finally a great inn with an innovative kitchen in town. Thank you.
